Well Storied is a bedtime reading app for parents and children. We take privacy seriously — especially when it comes to children. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and how your data is handled.

What We Collect

Well Storied stores the following data locally on your device only:

Your child's first name (used only for display within the app)
Books you've logged and reading sessions
App preferences and notification settings

None of this data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.

What We Don't Collect

No account registration or email address required
No tracking, analytics, or advertising identifiers
No location data
No photos or media from your device
No data about children is ever sent off-device

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Well Storied is designed for use by parents. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The only child-related data stored is a first name entered by a parent, kept entirely on-device and never transmitted.

In-App Purchases

Well Storied offers optional paid features through Apple's App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Push Notifications

If you enable bedtime reminders, notifications are delivered locally on your device using iOS. No notification data is sent to our servers.

Data Backup

Your reading data may be included in your iPhone's iCloud or local backup if you have backups enabled. This is controlled entirely by your iOS settings.

Data Deletion

You can delete all app data at any time from the Settings screen within the app, or by deleting the app from your device.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
